• My research interests lie in corporate governance and contract theory. I study these topics by building analytical models. 

• I teach introductory and capstone managerial accounting (ACC 200, ACC 465B) and accounting theory (ACC 616) at the Shidler College of Business.

My academic journey began at the University of Texas at Austin, where I earned my Ph.D. in Accounting in 2023. I had the great fortune to be advised by Prof. Volker Laux. 

When I manage to balance "life" with "work," I enjoy playing tennis, singing, jamming on the piano, and spending time with my wife, Jaclyn, and my son.
